Mentoring is when someone shares their knowledge, skills, and experience with another person to help them to progress.
Having a career that you’re passionate about is important. On average in the UK we spend 1,800 hours at work every year, and if you don’t find satisfaction in your work this can affect all areas of your life. Everyone should consider managing their career. If you are chasing that promotion or looking for a career change, mentoring can help you assess where you are and what to do to to move forward.
Where I might facilitate your ideas as a coach, I will guide you as a mentor. After spending a decade in recruitment helping countless candidates land their dream jobs, I consider myself well placed to benefit you. Much as I did with my clients in recruitment, I like to find a common ground and shared experiences with my mentees with which to build a strong rapport. I adapt my communication to best suit you, aligning with your traits and characteristics, in order to express a new perspective on where you are and how to reach those important goals
